Tony Hope: Closing Halloween Party

Saturday October 31, 2026 from 5-8PM, The Barbershop is hosting a Halloween party and closing reception for Tony Hope’s solo show.

In celebration of the holiday, Hope will be making additional interventions to the space, effectively creating a new configuration of the show on view for one night only! We’ll have snacks, candy, pop, and more surprises- costumes encouraged!

This is your last chance to see Hope’s first solo show in Michigan, and one of the small handful of times his work has been exhibited here in the past decade.

We also have some stock left of the zines he designed for the show, which include source imagery and text supplementary to the installation.
