Sour Wine: or Marching Asleep (Having Lost Their Boots)

Sour Wine: or Marching Asleep (Having Lost Their Boots)
Sam Albaugh
December 12 – February 1, 2026
Sour wine, while often a product of improper storage or inaccurate aging, is also a beverage of biblical notoriety. To convince the rest that they are deserving of life, men under the drink's influence devise armors of various forms and grind them into dust. These yearnings which they once had are forever lost to the wind.
Samuel Albaugh (b. Flint, MI. 1996) is an artist living and working in Detroit Michigan. He holds a BFA from the College for Creative Studies and has exhibited work in Detroit, Chicago, and New York.
