Opening this September 24, we are very proud to present a solo show of new work from Tony Hope (b. 1989, Redford, MI - BFA College for Creative Studies, MFA Yale School of Art). Despite showing consistently on both coasts of the US for multiple decades, this is his first solo show in Michigan. Leveraging his reverence for classic body horror film, juggalo culture, the psychoanalytic effects of synthetic nourishment, and a proverbial state of youth, Hope’s new work continues to dive into waters which few are comfortable entering.

Hope’s show is accompanied by a zine of the artist’s own design, utilizing self-shot images of the work alongside text and imagery which served as its source material. For the first time, this zine will be printed and available for purchase at the opening reception.
